  • Compact Disc (CD) + Digital Album

This limited edition version of the Sound of Kedleston comes with a DVD of the video installation to accompany the aduio, which was in place at Kedleston Hall in March 2016.

The sound of Kedleston is a site specific recording of improvised guitar, recorded live in the Saloon at Kedleston Hall combined with field recordings taken around the property, including the sounds visitors make moving around the building.

The intensity, volume, texture and shape of the recordings were inspired by the setting to produce a soundscape that sits alongside a collage of manipulated images which, together, both challenge and captures the mood, atmosphere and uniqueness of the setting.

This piece aims to showcase the sights and sounds which are around us all the time, as well as recording in a space not normally used in this way.

Includes unlimited streaming of Sound of Kedleston via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.
